HOLIDAY CARD DESIGN FOR SOVA AT VIRGINIA TECH

Task: Design a holiday card. Consider integrating elements from the college or connections to Virginia Tech.

Client: School of Visual Arts at Virginia Tech

Artist Statement: My goal was to design a card that included each of the buildings within the College of Architecture and Urban Studies. I thought it would be a great way to represent all aspects of the college.

 

The buildings include (from left to right): The School of Visual Arts Armory building, Bishop-Favrao Hall, Cowgill Hall, and the Architecture Annex. Originally, the card did not have the backs of the buildings on the reverse side, however, I thought it would be a nice addition.

 

All parts of the design itself were drawn by hand using Adobe Illustrator.
